I suffered a workplace accident a little 5 years ago in Iowa. I was referred to this firm soon after I started my recovery. From the first conversation with Tim Semelroth and the team of what I can only describe as brilliant attorneys, they went to work on the case and represented me in a way I can only describe as vigorous and ethical. In all the time I was waiting for a chance to to take the case to trial, they never waivered from the task and all the details involved in preparing for it. When the workman's compensation firm started to make life difficult for my family and I, they handled it. When I finally got the chance to appear in court after 5 years, Tim showed his true skill and gave a perfect opening statement and then handled the trial and it's intricacies in a manner that I would never have understood. I would like to also add that Brian Ivers was a fantastic litigator during the trial, Emily Anderson represented my interests to the insurance company, and Andrea Yelden never made me feel as if I was a bother or just a low level client. If you ever need a personal injury attorney to represent you in the state of Iowa, you cannot do any better. Thank you all for everything you've done for me. TL/dr?? Attorney Josh Christensen for the win. Full story: I work at a law firm in WA State but I have a cousin who lives in Iowa and got into a car accident there. I was helping her navigate the personal injury process but we were running up against an expiring statute of limitations. Obviously the court rules in Iowa are much different than those in WA, so I called this firm to see if I could borrow a few minutes of an attorney’s time for some Q+A. They could’ve easily tried to pressure me into giving them the case, or blown me off since there wasn’t anything in it for them. But attorney Josh Christensen gave me many hours of his time to help walk us through proper procedure in Iowa, as well as drafted several documents that we would’ve been lost without. I cannot tell you how much hope is restored for me being able to call someone from a different state who doesn’t know us at all and have them go to these lengths to help us. I can’t say enough about how amazing this experience was for my cousin and I.
