I was treated like scum. These people are some of the most rude and nastiest people I have ever met. I was treated very unfairly and threatened over the phone when I just asked a few simple questions. I don’t have time to play games. I pray to God that our justice system can be repaired and start to work with the community not against us.

In November of 2018, my phone was completely destroyed and $608 (the price of the phone) was ordered in restitution. I had filled out a victims packet and sent it in as soon as possible, as $608 is a lot of money, and I wanted to receive it as soon as possible. Fast forward 7 months to today, and I still have yet to receive a penny of restitution. I called for an update on June 3rd, and was told there has been no restitution ordered for the defendant to pay me...when I was told SEVEN MONTHS AGO, I would be getting $608 back in restitution, which I even have the voicemail stating. I’ve been dealing with Paula, who has been so extremely rude and unhelpful. I’m curious as to why the voicemail greetings say “we’ll call you back within 24 hours” when I’ve been leaving messages for the past week and a half and was only able to be in contact with someone from calling them first. When I called Paula and explained the situation AGAIN, she said “oh, I got that voicemail”...then why haven’t I heard anything back..? The orders for my restitution were “lost in an email to the attorney”....so if I haven’t of called and checked up on the process, I know I never would have received this money. I feel like a “professional” establishment shouldn’t need coaching and reminders to do their job and pay out to someone whom is rightfully owed money.
