Unfortunately I have determined that this office is the furthest thing from helpful if it was another state then it would probably be better for employees dealing with work comp issues. But all I received from this office was "that sucks can't change the law good luck" which honestly was the last attempt at saving iowas legal system so iowa is an awful place to live as a lower wage employee. Most honest review I can give unfortunately.

Very hard to get assistance at all. My mom has worked as a nurse for nearly 30 years and she has a back and spinal injury now because of working at a Behavioral health hospital and not getting help picking up a patient with other nurses properly. It has been a 5-year struggle and two surgeries the second surgery made things much worse. Here she is still this day dealing with this and I am her son. It drags on me everyday and she cannot get any assistance at all whether it's through workman's compensation or even medical help it seems we have traveled to Florida, minneapolis, and seen all doctors around here pretty much it feels like. We live in the Midwest... My mom worked as a nurse for one year in severe pain, then they took her pain medicine away. She got through that but can barely sleep at night, it's been a long haul put it that way! She worked 2 years from home which even bothered her sitting in a chair 8 hours a day and finally had to quit because of the pain. I think it's disgusting on how much this has brought our family down... Hoping 2021 brings us Much More help and happiness. Thanks people who understand...
