“Angela is the best criminal defense attorney in the State of Iowa. Honest, smart and tough as nails. If you or a family member need legal help, she is who you need to retain!”
3
Dedicated attorney who fights hard for their clients
“Paul is a great attorney. He has been with me for many years. Great explainer and advocate for his clients. And will always fight for you. He was a pit-bull out there on my cases.”
Cons
1
Withdrawal of representation without proper communication or explanation
“I felt confident that Paul Statler was going to take care of my case but all of a sudden withdrew without calling me back and telling me the reason why. Very upsetting when facing a charge can easily be Taken care of but apparently my case wasn't at the top of his Priority.”
2
Failure to provide expected services or communicate in a timely manner
“Jamie indicated that she would do this, and I trusted her. My trial was scheduled for 2/19/ 20. I wrote her a letter in November or December of 2019 to inquire about the progress she had made on the video analysis, and to ask some other minor questions related to my case since my trial was approaching. Jamie did not respond.”
3
Withdrawal of representation at the last minute due to personal reasons
“She had my case for nearly one year and never once informed me that she would not be able to represent me, despite being fully aware of her pregnancy. She waited until the 11th hour to tell me that, because she had a baby the previous month, she would not be able to represent me.”
