Jennifer has helped a family member with criminal charges in the past and now. We have a family member currently in jail and awaiting trial. Jennifer and her assistant Alyssa have given advice and recommendations on who to contact to help us cope. Our family member has brought shame and embarrassment to our family especially his children. It is hard to tell his children why he isn’t there for holidays. Our family thanks Jennifer for her law skills in handling our family member’s legal problems. We thank her and Alyssa for their professional skills, mannerisms, and dedication to their clients and families.

I must say I’ve had a few attorneys in my life but Arianna Eddy is by far the best I’ve ran into. She communicated with me whenever I had a question (which was a lot🙂) And she explained exactly what was to happen. My whole life is changing because of these expungements! I feel so grateful to Iowa legal aide and Ms Eddy. I’m humbled and smiling again. I finally can stop explaining myself about things that happened 25 years ago! Thank you!

Iowa legal aid defended a business hair salon from an eviction but can't call back someone who needs a guardianship for an ill daughter asap before she is released from Broadlawns to the streets.

Marcy at Cordell was top notch in the courtroom!

Filed a case last year. Attorney made me do almost all of the work. Attorney refused to do what I asked. Lost the case. Was not informed of the appeals process or timeline. Wasted $2000. Contacted again this year regarding the same case and asking for a different attorney and was denied service. What a bunch of crooks. Requested a grievance form and was also denied that, too. This law firm wants to make money and not be accountable for their own shortcomings.
