I would send any of my family members to The Law Shop. The attorneys there are kind, thoughtful and intentional about how they spend their time with you. I love that they unbundle their services so that working with them won't totally clean out your bank account, but they give excellent advice so that you know you're getting what you need. They definitely know their stuff! So glad to know them.

When I met Amy for a consultation on a zoom call, I knew she was the right attorney for me. She is very organized and keeps things on track. Amy truly desires to help those that reach out to her. She is very knowledgeable in the law and has many years of experience helping clients reach a fair settlement in the most gut-wrenching situation in life. Amy shared with me about collaborative divorces and how they proceed differently than traditional dissolutions. Previously I hadn't heard of them. I had reached a point in my life that I was no longer happy with my marriage. It had been building for about 11 years prior to 2014. When I crested over the hill and saw my husband's vehicle in the driveway, and gave a sigh of dread, I knew it was time to make a change. In July of 2014, I made an appointment with Amy Skogerson. Amy was bright and cheery and so helpful. We started the process. Together, Amy and I embarked on a wonderful journey of getting my life back. Amy showed me how to stand up for myself during the mediation process. I walked away from mediation with more than I could have dreamed possible: A divorce - 1st and foremost but also a renewed confidence in myself and my abilities. Following the divorce, Amy checked on how I was doing and even volunteered her amazing husband to help with some house renovations. Today, 8 years later I'm stronger and in better shape and health than I've been since my high school days. I've changed jobs a couple of times and have landed right where God intended me to be. I love my job, work from home and do some traveling as well. I'd have never had the guts to make that kind of change it not for that initial visit with Amy.
