My husband and I hired Shannon as our attorney for our estate planning needs and then myself for the probate process of my husband's estate. My husband and I have enlisted the services of Shannon Simms to purchase two different farms, an acreage in forclosure and also sell a lake place. With Shannon's professional knowledge of real estate laws the transactions went smoothly. Shannon also dealt with The Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the forclosed acreage and communicated with us often during the proceedings.

Shannon was understanding to my situation and fought to get the most for me and my kids. She did explain what would happen in Iowa being a no-fault state if we ended up in court, but encouraged my ex and I to try to agree on things if possible outside of attorneys. Possibly having the initial consultation free wouldn't be as pricey, but also lowered her usual escrow retainer so it worked out. Divorce is expensive and don't really want to go through another one!!
