My divorce included a house, a kid, a few debts, and a possible "battle"... I did my research for lawyers around Des Monies and chose Katie because of the great reviews. She was a great lawyer and did a WONDERFUL job! She was on-top of the process from start to finish. She made the process seem easy and painless. She has a lot of confidence and VERY good at her job! I would highly recommend Katie!

I hired Katie Naset for my child custody case. Katie was really great to work with. She was available for questions almost at any time of the day and always answered my questions almost immediately. I felt like I could count on her any time of the day for any question. She discussed all my options at the very beginning and let me take the lead in what I wanted by offering consultation to any modifications ensuring I had all the information to make necessary decisions. Her paralegal, Shelby, always promptly answered my emails as well.

Never again. Bait and switch.

Ignored me during a time of massive discovery in our case and did nothing for months. Would not refund me for their overpriced attorney after making zero progress in my case. I will also be submitting a formal complaint. After switching to Taylor law firm my case was closed in outer favor within a month. Terrible service, do not let them take your money if you are like I was and had never dealt with the court system before. We actually had one instance my attorney was 20 min late for my court date, driving from courthouse to juvenile court and I was charged 300+ dollars on my bill stating she had driven from Ankeny. There was also a no call no show at a family team meeting shortly after, during this time of new discoveries in my case. For your own sake go with someone that feels right, do not let Andrew scare you into giving them your money. I dealt with West des moines and ankeneys locations and it was a nightmare.

Awful they wrote are visitation agreement so bad it's such a joke!

We have used Hope Law twice. The first to attempt a quick and easy no fault divorce which we were told would cost no more than $1,800 - that we paid in full up front ... we're currently still making payments on what ended up being $5,000!!! The second time was to assist in a personal injury/car accident for which I had already been determined 100% not a fault. I had all the bills/dates/communications/contact info in a binder that I handed over the first and only time I met with Travis Burke. I was already 6 months in and was told it shouldn't take to much longer. Seven months later and many many many un-returned phone calls and straight out lies from his legal assistance I finally got my settlement check. Awesome, great.. They took their 33% PLUS $98.00 for filing for my medical records. That was a a joke and felt like slap in the face. They received nearly $6,000 dollars of my settlement and still felt the need to charge me for my own medical records which I had in the binder... That I never got back! Fast forward a few months and my husband was in an accident that totaled his vehicle and also was not at fault (other driver admitted at the scene to running the red light) we called Travis thinking well, we've worked with them before... Guess what, they never called us back. Go figure. I don't have any recommendations on who to chose instead, just take a moment to look else where is my advice.

Danni Harris was a super attorney! She helped us with an emergency guardianship, permanent guardianship and trial. I couldn't imagine having anyone less. Danni was experienced, knowledgeable, and such a great person. Thank you, Danni Harris and Hope Law Firm for the help!

Wow! What a disappointment!- I suffered through 2 years of cheating for them to allow a judge to tell me that being a stay at home mom was not a job when in fact I was working! I hired Mr. Hope and he assured me that he would handle my case- well I never spoke to him again after he cashed my check! They misrepresented me to the judge and I had to do damage control or risk not seeing my babies for a whole week! $20,000 later ...I HAD TO TAKE THE CHEATER BACK and he can continue to screw around as long as he does it away from my kids. My win is that I can protect my kids from his drinking, gambling and cheating and FROM JUDGES WHO THINK BEING AWAY FROM THEIR MOM 7 DAYS AT A TIME IS A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN. HOPE LAW FIRM IS WORTHLESS!!!
