Although I can't say I ever "enjoyed" my three year experience with Hope Law Firm due to the fact we were dealing with my ex-husband, I must say that Katie Naset was great to work with and in fact I now consider her a friend. Katie was always responsive to phone calls and emails, and her assistant Shelby was ready to help when Katie wasn't available. Katie did her best to work within a broken judicial system to help me receive the property payments I was due according to my divorce decree, she represented me strongly and well when we had to go to court, and did her best to reassure me during emotional times. I highly recommend Katie Naset at the Hope Law Firm.

Katie handled my divorce with children. She was great! I always felt comfortable with her, she was easy to talk to, and she explained all steps of the process. I really appreciated her prompt responses to my calls or emails. Katie seemed like she genuinely had time for me and cared about my case. She sat with me for hours during mediation, and sat with me until I was satisfied with my interrogatories, she made sure I had no worries when all I was doing was worrying.

Katie had the ability to put me at ease during an extremely stressful and emotional time in my life. Katie worked with my wife and I through a long custody battle that we didn't initiate and was with us every step of the way. Calls and emails were answered in a timely manner and we were updated on every filing or meeting that took place. Although there were times when we just wanted it to be done Katie listened to what we wanted and gave her honest professional opinion on what we could expect. We decided not to settle and see it through to the courtroom. Katie and the staff at Hope Law Firm made sure we were well prepared for the trial that took place. A total waste of time and money! Called the Hope Law Firm to represent me in a child custody case and was referred to Andrew Hope. At the initial interview Andrew was in and out of the room several times asking questions of someone either in the office or on the phone. He said he would take the case and would be working side by side with Pam Vandel, who had more experience with child custody than he did. It sounded like a good deal, and I paid the retainer. That was the last time I saw Andrew. After Pam botched a court appearance and wasn't returning my calls, I called Andrew for help, but he never returned my call. After a week or so I called him again. I was put on hold, and the receptionist came back to tell me that Andrew said I needed to discuss this with Pam. That was pretty difficult to do since she didn't return calls either. I called Andrew again a few days later and was finally allowed to speak with him. He told me that Pam was my attorney, and I would need to keep trying to contact her. Now Andrew denies ever working with Pam and has accused me of posting false accusations. These are not accusations - they are facts!

Thank you Katie and Shelby, and staff! Could not have had a better outcome for my children and I. I appreciate your hard work and dedication. Everything was fine in the beginning. However, as time went on, the service and attention to detail diminished. The decree contained several errors on separate occasions; they forgot to include our joint property in Texas, said they would fix it, and never did; the retainer account had leftover funds and it took nearly 2 months and several emails to get the refund; and when I received a check, it was about $100 short. I asked for a final invoice and never received one. All of this hassle and I filed 99% of the paperwork online before seeking their assistance. I can only imagine if you have a complex case.

One of the worst firms I have worked with. Paid the rate of a top notch lawyer to have absolutely no progress made on my case. Had to make repeated attempts to contact them to get a phone call or email back. The lawyer representing me misinformed me of vital information which came back to haunt me after the case was finished. Overcharged me for drive time unrelated to me and my case. When I spoke with them on the final bill and the lack of effort in my case they legally removed themselves from my case and claimed they did a good job. Don't waste your time with these people.
