I was arrested for a felony and did not know where to get help. My friend told me to call the Wizard. That nickname is not an understatement. Grant asked me all the right questions so I could gather the necessary evidence that I did not commit the crime. He strategically planned the presentation of the evidence and essentially discredited the witness for the prosecution. Case dismissed! He is brilliant and transparent - always provides straight answers. Need a lawyer that fights, hire Grant, the Wizard!

In June 2020 I was arrested and charged with Criminal Gang Participation, a Class D felony in Iowa. I reached out to a couple lawyers who were not interested in taking the case but recommended Grant Gangestad to me. We discussed the case and he was willing to take my case and was eager to move forward with my defense. He worked tirelessly throughout multiple delays not just Covid delays but also delays by the court. Grant was a great communicator, he stuck to the facts, he didn’t blow smoke up my as*, he was upfront and truthful from the beginning of the process to the end. In March 2021 the charges were dismissed at the behest of the prosecutor due to lack of evidence after Grant completed depositions with the witnesses. He continues to work (April 2021) for the return of my personal items that were seized. If you’re looking for an aggressive, straight-forward, talented lawyer that will work night and day for your case, this is your guy. I will never hire, or recommend, a lawyer other than Grant Gangestad.

Grant was very accessible and knowledgeable. He seemed to always have my best interests in mind. He spent a reasonable amount of time on my case without taking advantage of hours. His legal assistant Leilani was very helpful as well, and always very prompt to return calls.

My brother was facing 9 or 10 charges and had only done the DUI. All the other stuff was bogus. We hired Grant and he made it all go away. It was worth the money, because my brother would've had to pay that in fines and then would've had a record too. Grant worked hard, made it all go away, and communicated well with us. I don't plan on ever breaking the law myself, but if I ever get into trouble I'd hire Grant G! I don't know how he did it, but he was able to make my brother's charges all go away.
