I had a very difficult complicated case. Christopher Cortese always kept me in the loop and helped the whole process be easier. He always responded to my questions and worked hard for my case. My experience with Hurley McKenna and Mertz was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I first contacted them, it was clear that I was in good hands. The team, led by Michael T. Mertz, took the time to understand every aspect of my case, no matter how complex it was. They were patient, thorough, and made sure I fully understood the legal process at every stage. One thing that stood out to me was the level of professionalism and integrity they displayed throughout my case. While I have seen a few reviews of this firm that mentioned the length of time their cases took, I have to disagree with those criticisms. Legal matters, especially complex cases, take time to handle properly. Rushing through important details could mean missing out on key factors that could affect the outcome. I appreciated that Hurley McKenna and Mertz took their time to ensure that my case was handled with care, and it was clear that they were committed to achieving the best possible result rather than rushing to wrap things up quickly.
In the end, I felt not only that I had chosen the right legal team, but that I was treated with respect, compassion, and fairness. I would highly recommend Hurley McKenna and Mertz to anyone who is dealing with a complicated legal situation. If you want lawyers who are thorough, honest, and genuinely care about their clients, this is the firm you should turn to. They exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure I had the support I needed throughout the entire process. I couldn’t have asked for better representation, and I am incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication.

Attorneys Todd Gurney and Brian Eisen did an amazing job of prosecuting our family's wrongful death/medical malpractice case that was filed after the tragic loss of our oldest son.
Their knowledge and expertise in both the pertinent medical fields and the legal details of our case made all the difference in the final disposition of the action. Todd guided us through the entire process very well, which was very helpful during this very tough time for our family. There were never any delays in response from Todd or Brian when we called - this was a major plus for us.
While Todd was the lead Attorney on our case, both Todd and Brian worked together very well to make sure all the bases were well covered. Both Attorneys were just so thoughtful, and always kept our family's emotional state in mind during all discussions about the case - this meant so much to us!
Additionally, Alexandra in the office always made sure we were well informed about any important case events that were coming up - we were never caught unaware of any upcoming case activities. If we ever had any questions or needed any clarifications, Alex was always able to get us the needed information in a timely manner.

I've only briefly interacted with the team at Eisen Law Firm and unfortunately I will not have the pleasure of working with them as timing does not currently permit, however I can confidently write this review because although brief, every interaction I had with this team had a positive impact on me. Given the astounding lack of empathy and compassion I have felt from the overwhelming majority of other attorneys I've consulted with, talking to a team with such dedication to their clients and true passion for what they do almost made me emotional.
I think my first interaction was with Alexandra, and she empathized with my situation immediately, took detailed notes, and asked questions that truly demonstrated the personal approach they take when assessing each client, they listen. She made sure to go over everything with Brian and he called me the next morning as she told me he would.
My conversation with Brian was extremely pleasant and made me feel heard, I finally felt like what I was saying mattered and that resonated deeply with me. I was touched to hear about how much he invests in each client, and most memorably, the fact that he only takes on a few cases at a time to completely focus on each one. I can tell that he really cares and there's no doubt that he gives it his all. I was so compelled to work with him that I couldn't take his first no for an answer and asked him to reconsider (lol), and he could have ignored me but he didn't, he took the time to let respond and let me know why he couldn't take on my case.
His reason for declining reflected his genuine character, as it was due to the fact that he did not want the possibility of taking on another case to interfere with his focus on his current clients. I'm devastated, but I had to write this review for future potential clients at Eisen Law Firm, because I know what it feels like to feel like no one cares about something that was so valuable to you. Eisen Law Firm checked every single box for me and if you're reading this and in need of a light and some hope in our legal system, please give them a call.

10k later and our case was pawned off too 3 attorneys in a matter of one year. Be warned every 3 months you pay for a new attorney to the tune of 4500 to re learn your case at YOUR EXPENSE. They are laughable. Look elsewhere. This place is not it!!

Being is a situation of being wrongfully terminated out of the blue by DHS was devastating and there was a number of us all in the same situation together. We talked with several lawyers and none of them were willing to step up and take the case for us until we met with Media Law. Ashwin got his team started right away and was ready to take on the state. Now lets talk about Tara Jensen. The amount of time and effort this amazing woman put into our case was astronomical! She had 10's of thousands pages of documents thrown at her and painstakingly went through each document to find every line to help our case. She was direct and to the point during depositions and never wavered when opposing council was taking bulling to the next level, yet remaining kind, personable and reassuring to me the entire time. This was a 5 year process and we could not have asked for a better team of people to get us through it and did not even imagine a more favorable outcome against a powerful employer. Worse experience with an attorney. Communication is horrible, front office staff is rude and false promises made throughout the entire process.
My personal opinion would be to save your money and get a public defender. The only thing this man did that helpful was show up to court when we had work.
Last day of court a man incarcerated was last standing and Randall was not present as he was in a different court however, did not communicate this to anyone else either that he was representing this day.
For the price charged it is definitely not worth the money to hire. Save your money for the fees and fines you will more than likely have to pay in the end anyways.

I called Roland looking for guidance on using an online divorce site, and he quickly informed me that those are not always reliable and offered his services for a very reasonable price. He is very direct and to the point and makes one of the most difficult situations as easy and seamless as possible. He was always responsive with questions either via email, phone calls or text. Terrible attorney. Period. The dude flat out lies. Upon hiring him, I very clearly and specifically detailed my desire for open communication and being semi involved, i wanted to know exactly what steps he was taking on my case and the avenues he planned on approaching the case from. He was very appeasing and accommodating during our initial phone conversation and assured me that he would do just that. Well upon paying him, in full, $7500 for a third degree felony charge he proceeded to not contact me even once and didn't return many many calls for over 8 months. Can't imagine he was particularly proactive on my case.
So I began to "build a defense." (I use the term loosely) As I researched the case and charges, I began seeing gaping holes in the prosecutions chances for a conviction. As I presented these things to him, he IMMEDIATELY dismissed them....only to attempt to contact me 3-4 months later with attempts at presenting my avenue of approach as his own newly formed ideas. Kind of embarrassing (for him) to be honest.
He initially purported himself to be some kind of trial lawyer of some repute....but he's not. I wouldn't even consider him necessarily competent. He's a decent salesman I will give him that; but salesmen by nature (much like lawyers, I guess) are dishonest and manipulative, so I don't count or consider that a positive thing.
2 years into my case he spoke to me (outside of 45 second status reviews AT COURT) approximately 4 times. And had to be chased down to get that.
At some point during the preceeding months he decided to run for a publicly appointed position as Judge. To some that may be a testament to his ability or capacity, but let me assure you whole heartedly and with full confidence that it is absolutely NOT. My issue with his decision is that it takes a great amount of time and energy and resources (attention planning focus coordinating rubbing elbows etc) toward his new venture. Essentially disregarding the things of his past, like the cases he was handling.
And that's exactly what he did. He handled my case. He did not work on it nor attempt to defend me. Maybe he didn't like or agree with me. I personally don't care. When I went to him the final time he and gave him the most basic, and also the most solid defense, that was cited directly in the charges case logs or whatever, he said and I quote "I don't know, I'll just have to take your word for it..." he didn't appear to read anything on the charge except maybe the very first citation because that was the ONLY point he referenced multiple times.
Anyways if you've made it this far I can assume you are intentionally attempting to educate yourself on the type of attorney you may be hiring. Please do not employ this man. He is not objective. He is not very intelligent. He's a scam artist.
He misrepresented the offers to me from the state. Multiple times. To clarify what I mean, the state made an offer that consisted of xyz; it was presented to me by Michael Powell in the form of "if the state had an offer it would be 'like' a,b,c" only to find out that the state DID in fact have an offer that SPECIFICALLY consisted of a, b, and c. I know it sounds unimportant but in a profession exclusively based around language and phrasing and terminology, to have the person responsible for defending my life and freedom misrepresent idea based on words and language and phrasing seems either intentional or out of ignorance. Neither of which will be beneficial to anyone seeking his services.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy if you want an opportunity at a good defense.
I'm sure I could add more and go into greater detail and share some other personal ideas or observations but I believe I accurately covered the main points, I appreciate anyone who has taken the time and attention to attempt to learn what they are getting into.
Again, do not hire this guy. I am from out of state and any public defender would have produced the same results in a worst case scenario.

I highly recommend Brad Hull for your legal needs. He helped resolution for a Medicare lein on my home after my husband died. Also created a rental agreement. Although one area was not in his realm ,he recommended a selection of lawyers competent in a certain area of law.Mr Hull also offered to speak to a young man to ensure he was in a good place until things could be put in place. Mr. Hull is honest, TRULY cares and has a conscience! He is not intimidated by opposing lawyers no matter how seasoned they are. Was referred to this firm by multiple people/ lawyers. I shouldn't have even wasted my time. Got more of a story about how they sympathize for my situation but basically because I'm a federal employee I'm not entitled to the same rights of protection as the general public, according to them. This is even with a judgment from the county court in my favor in regards to the matter. They just simply couldn't help with the employment matter. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal help.

Do Not Hire this attorney. Read carefully the negative reviews. He will take your money and if the judge is his buddy will do whatever the judge tells him to do on your case even if it means "throwing" your case just like others have commented. He told me what he would do in court and then did not do it. Then he met with the judge in chambers and refused to present my case. He refused to continue representing me and then demanded more money.
