Attorney DeWoskin came highly recommend by a personal friend in 2007. At the time, I was active duty military and not physically located in the Kansas City area. I was drawn to Attorney DeWoskin not only by his reputation, but also with his military experience. Attorney DeWoskin took the time to keep me well informed of every detail before and during the divorce proceedings. He provided me with various options regarding survivor benefit plan (SBP) and my military retirement plan. During the legal proceedings, it was very clear that Attorney DeWoskin had communicated all of the expectations on my behalf to the other legal counsel which eased the stressfulness of the situation. Attorney DeWoskin provided me with realistic expectations and forth coming on all of the possible outcomes. He never promised specific results, but he always stated his goals and intentions based off protecting my interests and concerns. My divorce was granted with expected results. In 2019, just before my retirement from the Military, I needed Attorney DeWoskin’s services again concerning my military retirement plan and former spouse entitlements. Once again, Attorney DeWoskin focused on the details, he is extremely verse in military law and the current case studies related. He was steadfast in building an argument on my behalf, referencing several related case laws, which resulted in a positive outcome solving my military retirement situation.
