Well, He was very hard to get ahold of once he got his retainer. Did not believe that l was not guilty of the charges that I was accused of, then wanted to let me go to trial while not representing me to his ability, And the worst of it is that he wanted another $10,000 needless to say got a new attorney,and out $5000.

When you find yourself on the wrong side of the law you are overwhelmed with a thousand different emotions at once.
You're shocked, angry, confused, and you understand that in this country you don't need to be guilty of anything to be sent to prison.
I cannot overstate how incredibly corrupt the Police and Prosecutors are on the Kansas side.
You NEED someone to trust who will fight for you who understands the legal system.
Michael Duma was that person for me. When your freedom is at stake, you need the best.

Perfect experience. Frankly I wasn't sure if I was even in any trouble, but I was a person of interest regarding a separate situation. Long story short, I had no reason to worry in the end. I was terrified though and brought my concerns to Mr. Duma and he paid attention, offered me advice, and I ended up hiring him. He made me feel really confident that he would be able to handle things well had the situation been more serious for me.

This man helped my grandson facing serious allegations and years in jail while in college. Mr. Duma and his team held our family together for 2 years during trail and won and our whole family cried with joy. After meeting with nearly every lawyer in the KC area we were very very very pleased with the overall results, work ethic and professionalism Mr. Duma and his assistant provided. Court can be like cancer and choosing the right doctor is tough when your life is on the line.
