Very helpful with immigration questions, helped me with questions concerning OPT

After my divorce, my attention turned to landing a job. It was only when I retired that I realized the QDRO had never been finalized. The QDRO was 24 years old. I was blessed to find Nicholas Steinwart. Few lawyers would tackle a case like mine. Nick is a pleasure to work with, his communication skills are excellent, and he is honest. Nick hit a brick wall several times, but persevered. When he felt he could do no more, he researched, found a case similar to mine, then referred the firm that had success with that case. The outcome was more than I had hoped for. I highly recommend Nick Steinwart. I'm grateful for his expertise, his determination, and his kindness.

DO NOT GO TO YANKY. Yanky is a thief. I paid him 10k+ to help me get my family here. To find out recently from the immigration office that he actually never filed one of the cases in the first place. He kept ignoring my messages and calls the last two years and always giving excuses he is out of town, on a vacation. He moved from Cincinnati without even telling his clients. That’s his way to run away with a money someone has been collecting their entire life. Yanky is a thief. Save yourself and find someone else. Someone who will value you as a person. Who will value the hard work you had to do to collect a dream. Go somewhere else. Save yourself.

I would recommend Mark Jeffers to anyone looking for a family law attorney. He handled my case professionally, reasonably and directly, and kept us from having to go to court. He is an experienced attorney who keeps his client's best interests a priority.
