Stephanie Kice is one of the best attorneys I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is incredibly knowledgeable about and quick to do research about changes to the law. Our family had a very disappointing experience with Kaitlyn Dubois. From the start, initially, she appears to care; however, after working with her for a a short period of time, it was clear she was disorganized. Despite hiring her to assist with child support paperwork, she didn’t touch our case until right before meetings with the judge, leading to unnecessary delays. Important details were consistently overlooked, indicating she never reviewed anything prior to our discussions. We began working with her in April, and by September, we still hadn't submitted our child support paperwork. I suspect crucial documents were never submitted, as she refused to provide any confirmation when asked. Kaitlyn constantly fed us excuses about the process and steps involved, making me question why we didn’t just go through the state directly… and I’d like to mention she assured us working with her would be much quicker than with the state. Ultimately, we paid a significant amount for little to no progress. I can’t recommend her services; it was the worst experience I’ve had with a lawyer. I encourage potential clients to read the other five-star reviews carefully. Many seem to be based on brief interactions, which is not a suitable basis for a business review. It’s important to choose a lawyer based on actual client experiences… this company is using Google reviews like a LinkedIn profile to make them appear to be better at their job than they really are. Please do your research!

I had a terrible experience with Kaitlyn Dubois at Barnds Law. Communication was extremely poor; she often didn't respond to my emails or follow up when I asked for confirmation about document submissions. It felt like she was all talk and no action, giving me the impression she was working hard on my case while actually doing very little. It also seemed like she had taken on too many clients, which impacted the quality of service I received. I regret choosing her as my lawyer and would not recommend her to anyone.
