Dan Smith is one of the best. He's not only a top shelf attorney, he's also a good and decent human being - these last two characteristics are highly valued, but non-essential in today's legal world.

Travelling from a recreational state to Kansas and was stopped by the police(racial profiling) and had a good amount of edibles and marijuana for personal use. Was detained and received a number from an attorney from one of the staff who worked at the compound where my vehicle was towed who was charging 3X the amount of what I paid for so my wife decided to get online and find an attorney and she found Attorney Leininger and his resume is impeccable. I was stressing so much as I do not live in that state and was facing jail time and was in jeopardy of losing employment. After speaking with him, I was able to set up a payment plan and his assistant Katie is amazing. I was late one time and was able to continue to receive services. I didn't feel the need to worry or really call as my much because my wife wanted me to check in almost every week and there was no need to because that's how much I had faith in him due to the emails and conversations I would have with him and sure enough, when it was time to go to court, all I had to do was zoom in and the outcome was to pay a probation cost and complete a substance abuse evaluation and THAT'S IT.....NOTHING ELSE. He's the truth and this is not my first rodeo unfortunately dealing with this system. Kudos to my wife for finding him and kudos to the whole staff and if he ever reads this, THANK YOU AGAIN.

Brian was fantastic at handling my case, we set up an initial meeting. He explained my ticket and knew the court that the tickets were in, and he made sure that I understood what the process would be. He went to my court date for me, and had my ticket dismissed down to a fine. He communicated with me throughout the process and even delivered my final payment to the court. His fees are very reasonable, and he is very good to work with. 2 months later when my employer wanted a copy of all the court information Brian was able to coordinate that whole process with the court so that I could get the necessary information to my employer in a timely manner. I found Mr. Leininger to be a solid, and very professional lawyer. He had a way of putting me at ease during a time in my life that was very stressful. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and did everything that he could to have things turn out in my favor. He was always available to discuss the increasing amount of questions that I would have. Even after the court date, he was always receptive if I called and needed something. He's a fantastic lawyer, and an overall great person.

I was pulled over for running a stop sign. An intimidating Kansas state trooper with D.R.E. credentials claimed to have smelled marijuana coming from my car. He claimed I was impaired. He was the Expert. I Failed the field sobriety test. So I hired a local Attorney who did not listen or didn't have what it would take to help out. I believe He was more interested in a diversion and the easy money then my Freedom. So I fired him in court and found Brian. After talking to Brain I felt so much better because up to that point I felt like no one was listening. Brian took this case at the last minute. He even came to my hometown. In court Brian challenged the Expert about what he really knew. Brian beat him up on the stand so good I did not have to take the stand. The Jury found in my Favor 5 to 1. The outcome was excellent as the case was dismissed. I had spoken to other attorneys before consulting with Brian but didn't feel comfortable with them. I liked and trusted Brian immediately and felt he was extremely knowledgeable.
