Great attorneys, but don't expect too many updates or for your things to be done in a timely manner. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll call often to get updates on things but won't get a return call. My divorce was final may 18th... It's the end of June and I'm still waiting on any final updates from my lawyer in if the final updates have been entered into the court records and basically any updates...

Dana was amazing navigating my complicated divorce and custody. She was quick to act and was extremely compassionate and understanding. Her para LeAnne was quick to answer questions and keep me informed when Dana was unavailable due to court dates and other clients, and to also offer emotional support. They were both busy working behind the scenes from day 1 to get things settled as fairly and quickly as possible. Her billing practices are top notch and she kept my expenses to a minimum. I hired Dana Parks in September 2020 in hopes that she would guide me through a complicated divorce. After filing my case, Parks began ignoring calls and emails. Her paralegal was curt and rude. I kept begging her for information. I told her to please give me blunt feedback about what she wanted and how she wanted it. She kept me on the line with a quick call or email once every month or so, telling me that things were happening behind the scenes that I wasn't aware of. She told me to keep giving her as much information as possible. I spent months in an emotionally debilitated state feeding her all of this detailed information. This went on for eleven months. I was suicidal. I left her sobbing messages she ignored. I was just about out of money and couldn't fathom coming up with another retainer for another lawyer. I already had an entertainment lawyer and a forensic accountant on the payroll. At one point, Parks presented an offer so ludicrous, it was obvious that she thought she had me on my last leg and I'd take it. One of my friends was out with a lawyer friend of hers, a judge. She told him what was happening with me. He told her Dana Parks was bilking me and that I needed to fire her and get another lawyer. This gave me the courage I needed to fire Parks and hire Amanda Thilges. I got more help in a five minute conversation with Thilges that I did after a year with Parks. Thilges told me none of these elaborate spreadsheets and timelines mattered to the State. She told me exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it. She listened to me and I felt respected by she and her team. Dana Parks wouldn't even return a call or email so I could fire her, but had the audacity to send me one last bill. After 18 long and grueling months, Thilges was able to get me the settlement I deserved. I am contemplating filing a complaint with the State, but fear it's a waste of time, as it's a board comprised of other attorneys. The fox watching the chicken coop. But what really nags at me about my case and how Parks failed me is how her bilking methods must certainly disparately impact females over 40 like me. Per the law, that is simply unacceptable, right?
