My time with Scott Gyllenborg has by far been one of the most excellent attorney experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for honesty, advocacy, and a high level of competence and professionalism from the lawyer in your case, he’s your guy. From day one, he was completely honest about all the possible outcomes my situation might be facing. He laid out what would be the first steps he’d take if I chose to hire him and mapped out how the process would continue from there. A gentle mix of compassion and seriousness, he’s always advocated on my behalf above and beyond what would be considered the norm. I’ve never felt uninformed or left out of the loop; Scott has kept in touch with me on each decision point and progress note the whole way. He’s very good at breaking down the legalese and explaining the current matter at hand. His expertise in the intersection of criminal and family law not only makes him unique, but very capable of handling intricacies other attorneys might overlook or send you elsewhere to manage. His experience with DCF, CPS, and APS on both sides of the state line is immeasurably valuable. Likewise, he has experience in all manner of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to capital punishment. If he can’t take your case or handle an issue presenting, he likely can point you in the right direction and will do so gladly. To say he is an expert in criminal law and criminal procedure is an understatement. I’ve never regretted choosing him to represent me, and regardless of my outcome, I am honored to have known him in my life. Furthermore, he is known amongst his peers as the best of the best, and I would concur. He was recommended to me by the attorneys of other friends. While shopping around for attorneys, put him at the top of your list. I’d give him 50 stars if I could. But 5 will have to do.
