I handed Dustin and Caleb an impossible case after trying to be my own voice for over a year. Let me tell you, I had really put things off. I just wanted to feel better, so I put my injury claim on the back burner and just tried the best I could to advocate for myself. I wasn't an easy client to work with, especially considering the brain injury and pain I struggled with. I was a bit on the forgetful side, and I was exhausted from living my daily life in pain. The day I spoke to Dustin first on a friends recommendation, I felt relieved of so much unnecessary stress. They treated me like a part of their family from start to finish, and even though we have wrapped up our business relationship, they still sent me a birthday card last month. They were handed a case that was impossible to predict. My past job choices made character judgemtn in conservative Johnson County less than desirable. I was a complete up in the air case, but holding real and true injuries. They looked past my job as a dancer at the time of my injury and fought for me. They never judged that part of my life, and understood/respected that I was in no way ashamed that I worked a job that allowed me to work only part time and raise my 3 little girls, and provide for them very well. No matter how hard the opposition pushed, they stood strong in my corner and didn't give up. Continuing to ease my fears. They never made me feel like a bother, even when they had to remind me of everything multiple times. As I said, I wasn't easy (still am not easy), but they did an amazing job of advocating for me. They made sure I was given a fair settlement that has allowed me to pursue better treatment that my insurance wouldn't cover. Not to mention the relief that being done has brought into my life. I cannot thank them enough. Dustin and Caleb, you guys were amazing, and I really hope I never need to utilize your services again, but if I ever do the choice will be an easy (and quick) one.
