We hired Mike Heptig for an appeal on an eviction case. He’s a nice likable guy, which makes this review difficult to write. He won the case for us which was great, but at what cost. I felt he put the least amount of effort into the case one possibly could. Communication was terrible, he told me he’d have documents sent on X date, I’d call back the next week for an update and it still wouldn’t be done. I felt like I had to push him to get any work done. And on top of that, I realized later he was billing me for that time I had to use to get him to do his job. Makes me sick to my stomach. Finally to get an invoice, I felt like I had to pull teeth. No one would explain to me they have an online portal to pay and they wouldn’t give me an invoice number to pay which was required to pay. After the case was done, they (not Mike) sent me one final update email saying my case was complete and said if I had any remaining questions to ask Mike. Well I tried. 2 months later and still no reply to my emails and voice mails. I don’t get it, you guys really don’t want repeat customers? I guess you don’t need to worry about it then. How do you go about winning the case for me, and yet I still feel like I lost.

I would recommend Mike Patton to anyone and everyone! Him and the entire team are incredibly empathetic, responsive, and treat you like family. They did the very best they could in my situation, and I’m very grateful. Best attorney ever!
