Market Advisory only sold us products. they started with a risk assessment and sold us an annuity with an income ride—good for them commission-wise, but not so good for me in the long term. I could go into so many details about why this was BAD advice (inflation, taxes, and rider fees), but it was really good for the Market advisory group. At no point did they advise me to invest in Index funds or ETFs. There is no commission on these investments. On top of all that, they messed up the value of our funds by thousands of dollars. It was only when we brought it to their attention that it was addressed, and even then it was handled dismissively. Blaming it on one of their employees and said it had been taken care of. There are more reasons for my POOR rating, but it comes down to this. Nobody knows what the future holds. Not even a Financial advisor. Do your research. Save your money.
