My Attrny was Jessica B from the beginning we just clicked and i asked her to never sugar coat anything nor not be forthcoming with me no matter what the situation of my case was and from there i felt compelled to express my true feelings on what i thought as well as she too was able to tell me the truth ALWAYS i pray i may never need an Attorney again and this being my 1st time ever needing one, i must say it was a blessed experience and im truly grateful !

Destin my family at at the hospital. I had been hit by a car while walking to mine. Being Being in shock, and druged with a broken hip. My family was very concerned. My attorney Kimberlyn and my case manager Alyssa have been phenomenal. They have listened in earnest to my concerns and have worked very hard to help me. I have/had two cases with DeVaughn James. I will only speak on one, as the other is on going. I and my son were in a car accident in Sept. 2016. Obviously, if I sought a lawyer, things didn't turn out so peachy for me. My son was two months old at the time. I'm a first time parent and was terrified. The agony of thinking my son wouldn't be normal because of the accident was kicking my butt! It did not matter what time of day or night it was, someone fron Devaughn's law firm got back with me. Sometimes later than earlier, but I was never forgotten. I watched my son sleep many nights and Ms. Brittney would always show extreme compassion for me and advise me to sleep. She is like a loving sister. She listens and is non-judgmental, which is what I need(ed). My lawyer, Brent, has been extremely patient and responds quickly. When I first started looking for a law firm,I did not know anything about DeVaughn James. I choose the firm because I'm Brown American and thought, "Hey, that name sounds like a good law firm for me." That's a laugh out loud moment, but it was my true thought. Then I thought, DeVaughn sounds good and aggressive (another laugh out loud moment)...like a big brother that'll fight for me. When I walked into the law firm with my family, we were greeted and given drinks (water or soda) and CANDY!!!! Then I started to look around at the slogans and every where I read, the word aggressive came up over and over again. I have no idea how aggressive they are with the insurance companies, but, I feel like family. I even got a personally signed holiday card for Christmas. I am thankful for my big brother DeVaughn. You can not go wrong making them apart of your team. Everyone on your case comes out to greet you. They do follow ups and make sure you're being taken care of. I've never been disrespected here or felt out of the loop on my case. They truly are here to help you. First to help you feel better and then to win on your behalf. I had no idea of the reviews on this law firm until after I hired them. I hired them because of the aggressive slogans on the wall. I felt I'd made the right decision for me and my son after reading all the positive reviews. This isn't a too good to be true place. From what I see, everyone tries to be transparent with you. Besides, why would you want to hire a place with negative reviews? In my case, I'd already signed the paper work, but I thank God I made the right decision for me and my son.
