Pros
1
The lawyer demonstrates good common sense and professionalism
“Uses good common sense while being professional.”
2
The lawyer's staff, specifically Keontay, is responsive and provides helpful information
“Keontay with the Bowling Green public defenders office has been a life saver for me! I live in Nashville but my husband was recently jailed within that county & she has been the ONLY person to actually answer any of my questions (and I had a lot) Anybody else I called would just give me the runaround but Keontay answered every question of mine in great detail and without getting annoyed.”
Cons
1
The lawyer and their staff are often unresponsive and difficult to reach
“Impossible to get a callback. Secretary told me she works five hours a day but the office is supposed be open to 4:30 PM it's 307 and I can't get no one to answer.”
2
The lawyer may not be fully advocating for their clients' best interests
“What good is P&A if they don't speak up and do their jobs? Our meeting was on the 10th and this person sat and watched basic human rights be stripped away.”
3
The lawyer may be making unprofessional or unethical comments about their clients
“I was disappointed to learn that when you spoke with Jon Olash a few weeks ago, when you told him that you were considering recusing yourself from the case, you cited the reason as me.”
