Absolutely horrible service to be representing victims. They will tell you they are for the victim when they truly are not. I have been asking for 3 weeks for a phone call back from the prosecutor who I've never spoken to regarding my case, still no response. The Amanda person who works there is absolutely unprofessional and hangs up on you because they can't do their job and are told about it. I will be speaking to the Attorney General office and media if I have to for the poor service. Couldn't get Child support to do anything for 6 plus years now they send me to someone who doesn't care just as much. Our wonderful people who serve Warren county and is supposed to help people are very pathetic.

I called the commonwealths attorneys office and requested the email address so I could communicate the contents of the following email to her since, for whatever reason, the email addresses that I have for the victims advocate as well as Korey do not seem to be correct. I was told to go online and leave a comment. Since what I wanted to comment on is the following, I am doing as I was told.
In this email I am referring to the attorney for the defense on a case that Korey is the “attorney on record” for. My father, Michael Logsdon, died by homicide in July of 2022. The attorney for the defense for one of the two who stand accused of my father’s tortuous death by slow asphyxiation is the individual who commmunicated to my attorney that Korey made extrajudicial comments in regards to the case. I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that I am a witness, but above all, a victim of the crimes of those who has caused so much damage to myself; my family, but most of all, my dad who paid the ultimate price in attempt to satiate the greed of others, and i am specifically speaking of another individual whom the prosecutor knows committed acts of betrayal so vast that it led to my father’s murder.
My expectation as a living victim of a homicide is for all crimes in which there is ample and abundant evidence to support that said crimes occurred against my extremely vulnerable elderly father be prosecuted as such.
To not do so is nothing less than corruption.
Since I was refused a mode of communication from the prosecutors office I will communicate the message for her here.
I have been filing criminal charges in Barren county this week. I filed criminal charges against Johnny Bell on Monday and the police have already spoken with one of the witnesses. There is an additional agency that has been notified of the evidence file and witnesses that are thus far available and my assumption is that other evidence obtained to date will be sent as well.
I filed criminal charges against Dan Klein on Tuesday for the fraudulent acts that he committed prior to my father’s murder. This is a separate set of crimes than the Kentucky state police have been investigating since the end of September. That investigation is centered on the theft that occurred in the first 9 months of 2022. Dan has also been submitted to the fbi on the suspicion of money laundering, fraud, and the conspiracy to commit fraud.
Dan’s partner, Jodi Walden, is having criminal charges filed for conspiracy to commit fraud, and false allegations of a crime
Criminal charges against Brian Lowder and Matt McGill are also underway. They have been submitted to the FBI on the suspicion of money laundering, fraud, extortion, conspiracy to commit fraud, falsifying legal documentation, among others. All of these crimes are against state law as well, which has been duly noted.
So anyway, here’s the email I was trying to send the prosecutor privately. I try to do what I am asked to do, so here it is.
Korey,
I was disappointed to learn that when you spoke with Jon Olash a few weeks ago, when you told him that you were considering recusing yourself from the case, you cited the reason as me. My attorney ran into Olash at the Jefferson County Courthouse, and he told him all about it.
I think it stands to reason that a defense attorney in a murder trial would use that as additional ammunition to attack me on the witness stand. Since I am not only a witness, but a victim of the two who stand accused of the murder of my father, it was a particularly egregious transgression on your part, and it was not only unprofessional, but unethical as well.
Olash also shared with my attorney that he and my mother’s attorney are most likely going to withdraw if he isn’t able to get anymore money. He is planning on asking for more funds to be released. He said they are going to withdraw if they don’t get it.
Evidently the 1.3 million dollars that has been misappropriated since January of 2022 wasn’t enough to go around.
Keep up the good work.

Keontay with the Bowling Green public defenders office has been a life saver for me! I live in Nashville but my husband was recently jailed within that county & she has been the ONLY person to actually answer any of my questions (and I had a lot) Anybody else I called would just give me the runaround but Keontay answered every question of mine in great detail and without getting annoyed. She also actually called me back when she said she was going to which a lot of businesses don’t do. I don’t think she’s a public defender, I think she’s a secretary so for anybody who calls up there, ask for Keontay!!!

What good is P&A if they don’t speak up and do their jobs? Our meeting was on the 10th and this person sat and watched basic human rights be stripped away.
