Lisa Wells was hired after a sex crime arrest was charged on my fiance'. With not knowing where to begin, Lisa was referred to me and I was told she was the best. Well they were right. When I first met with Lisa she emphatically stated I would not be going to prison for my 4 felony indictments. She kept her word. While I was a first time offender, the possibility was still very real that I could serve 5 years. I ended up with probation, restitution, and a counseling program. The probation may be reduced on good behavior. She is still fighting to have the restitution reduced, or eliminated. Tony, her paralegal, was typically on point with communications and returning calls. He was Johnny on the spot. During sentencing, the prosecution fought hard to lock me away for 2 years - Lisa strategically argued persuasively, and intelligently against that. Guess who won? Ultimately, she delivered a solid end result for a very reasonable fee.

My son was arrested for a sex-based crime and based on a friend's recommendation, I hired a different attorney. I figured that based on the fact he was only 18 at the time of the incident, the experience and competency of the attorney wasn't going to make much difference. I couldn't have been more wrong. Things with the other attorney seemed to be going okay, but I was a little perplexed that the prosecutor wasn't coming off their offer of five years in prison. My attorney said not to worry, we would get a far better outcome if we went to trial. At that point, I decided it would be in my son's best interests to at least see what an experienced attorney in sex crimes would advise. I checked this website and a few others, and found that Ms. Wells was one of the best in greater Cincinnati. I called and spoke to her paralegal, Tony, and he put me on the line with Lisa. I learned more in the course of ten minutes than I had in five months with the attorney I'd originally hired. After that initial consultation I immediately dismissed my previous attorney and hired her. It's the smartest thing I've ever done. She was able to work the prosecutor and then the judge, and my son was only given 30 days in jail. If I had stuck with my previous attorney and had followed his recommendation to go to trial, my son would have been lucky to get 5 years in prison. Ms. Wells and her paralegal Tony are by far the most competent legal team I've seen and I have and will continue to sing their praises anytime someone tells me they need representation. Hopefully I never have a need for another attorney, but if I do, Ms. Wells will be my first call.

I hired Lisa to represent my son in a sex accusation. Lisa was very compassionate regarding my son, wife and I. She communicated with us regularly. Our son only had to appear in court one time and after Lisa did what she does the case was then thrown out and all charges were dropped. Lisa was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone.
