It has been about a year since Darpel Elder Law helped me and my family in one of the most tragic times in our lives. As I had tried for years to get my mother the benefits and assistance she needed due to her horrid and declining health, after my sister passed away in late November of 2022, the thought of fighting that fight and navigating this process for my mother alone was even more daunting and ailed me to the core. I was able to hand off the bulk of the responsibility in dealing with Medicaid and only needed to get them documents and information they needed when they needed it. This left the majority of my time to be able to help my family deal with the loss of my sister, as well as allowing me the personal grieving time I needed as well.
