My son was going through a mess of a divorce battle with custody issues. Mind you my son has not been a perfect individual and has made many positive changes in his life. Ms. Barnett was able to get him joint custody of his children and handled everything with preciseness and poise. She is amazing to work with. She does not play around and will let you know that she needs to know everything about you, your past, etc. The way to win is with the truth and lots of proof and evidence to support your case. She is one of the best if not the best divorce attorney I've known someone to work with. She is up front about everything and will give and give to help win your case.

Responsive and cordial support staff; however, lacked empathy from attorney and correspondence appeared condescending at times.This was disappointing as I selected this business based on the superb reviews and looked forward to receiving similar service.

I worked with Margo Barnett through my divorce. I left a toxic relationship and she helped me not only with my divorce but also, the aftermath of leaving a narcissist. Not all attorneys know how to handle things when dealing with a narcissist from what I've been told, but Margo fought for me and helped me make the best decisions for my well-being from the first phone call I had with her. She came out guns blazing in court and didn't miss a beat. She's smart and very wise in the decisions she made for me with my divorce and in court. She was easy to work with and I would highly recommend her for any divorce or EPO case.

If your a male fighting for rights for your kid, I definitely do not recommend this law firm. If you really love your kid keep looking. My experience has been absolutely terrible!!!!! This is a real review the others have to be fake. The absolutely worse law firm I’ve ever work with.

First, I would like to tell Margo Barnett thank you! I only regret not contacting her before the divorce took place. However, she took the time to listen and give insight on my situation. I would advise anyone going through a divorce to contact her and watch her work. I contacted another lawyer and I was not impressed with the vibe and how they made me feel rushed when speaking to them. Wisely I choose to look elsewhere and I am glad I did. Again Thank you for helping me.

I can only tell you this though this is my second review, this is because Margo isn’t just an attorney she’s an example of what I can’t even bring my self to understand! Until, much later sometimes but, even still she has the patience of a true peace maker! She will not do what you want her to do because she doesn’t think with emotion she is rational and fair and extremely wise! How she got to this point I don’t know I’d love to know though! She strategic and a counsel that is well worth having! You won’t understand her method always but you will if your ready to grow past what brought you to her and learn, yes she even takes the slow to learn and recover!! Margo is our saving grace!!! Thanks Margo even when I find it hard to K.i.s.s keep it simple! Margo is still stellar and the best Hardin county holds!!!! If you don’t know, now you know!!

Not willing to help everyone

We hired Cassie for a child adoption. From the moment we first sat down, she was very clear and concise and laid out what we could expect through the process from the beginning to the end. We ended up having a non contested divorce that took about 90 days from conception to end. Cassie was always readily available to answer any questions and made to process extremely simple. Would definitely recommend again.
