I cannot say enough positive things about Melissa and her team! The first time I walked into her office I was absolutely devasted and crushed because divorce was not something I ever thought I'd have to face. I didn't know what to expect, but the kindness, compassion and friendliness I was greeted with by Melissa and her staff, put me right at ease. From our very first meeting I knew I had picked the right team to support me. I never felt that any of my concerns were silly or that any of my questions were dumb. Melissa was always eager to offer support and encouragement. She was a fierce advocate for what was in the best interest of my children and ensuring I had a secure financial start to my future. Melissa and her team treated me with upmost understanding and respect. They were prompt and courteous throughout every interaction. I truly don't know how I would've made it through this process without their guidance. I am eternally grateful for Melissa, Julia, and Hannah and how they went above and beyond my expectation. I hope to never need an attorney again, but I will most definitely give Melissa and her team a call if I ever do. Many thanks!!

Oh my goodness, I could not say enough positive things about this group of ladies. Firstly, everyone is exceptionally kind and understanding. I personally had Emily Costin working my case. I was going through a divorce that took almost a year to get through. It was a long process, with many curveballs thrown in. She worked side by side with me the entire time. She helped make sure the kids were the number one priority. When working with her, she was so personable and down to earth, it made the divorce process so much easier. She truly listened to my concerns and thoughts, answered any questions, and stood up for me to not allow the other side to try and run all over me with their wants. If you are wanting or in need of a lawyer that is going to put your kids first in a divorce and make sure it is fair. She is your woman! And for the ladies out there going through a divorce, this was an office of wonderful women, it was calm, and felt like a truly safe place. They truly helped me get on my feet and starting my new life. Absolutely amazing!

Men beware! If you are going to court against an ex, soon to be ex, or any woman for that matter it seems, look elsewhere. The court system is against men as it is in this area but it is even worse without the right legal representation. Learn from my mistake so you save not only money but keep yourself from a good amount of frustration. I hate leaving bad reviews but I believe it was more than necessary. I wish I could go back and change things but I can’t so if I can help someone from making the same mistake I did then that is a win. I was going up against my ex, I had plenty of evidence showing she was/ is a habitual liar, and I even gave tips and ideas for leverage if needed. Emily seemed nice enough in the beginning but once I paid for a consultation and the retainer everything went downhill quickly. I was hoping since she was a woman with children she would be able to have a better idea than I would about how to go against my ex, a female, and know how much I had to fight for so my son wouldn’t have his life and routine changed again because my ex didn’t get her way. Well, I had to remind Emily multiple times about evidence I had, she didn’t seem interested, then when I did send it after labeling it, she just mentioned I sent a bit like it was a big burden. I highly doubt she even looked at the evidence besides maybe scrolling through the few emails without reading it. It was very frustrating and I was doing my best to be polite. She even wanted to wait until about a week before court to even discuss things even though there was a month or more before it. The lawyer I wanted wasn’t able to help and there wasn’t time to get another lawyer to actually help me and listen to me. Emily’s plan seemed to pretty much give up, give in, and agree to whatever my ex wanted. This seemed apparent early on but I was hoping things would work out, they didn’t. It isn’t only that I lost the case, I really believed I had proof to show my ex was a liar but nothing was used, and my ex seemed to have two lawyers on her side while I didn’t have one even though I had paid for one. I had my brother on a call with Emily and her main concern was what my brother did for a living, she was scared he was a lawyer most likely. I wanted him to ask questions I may not have thought of or didn’t ask in the right way because it was a joke at that point how bad things were; my brother even had to get off the phone because he was so upset at how poor of a job was being done for me. In the end I asked what plan Emily had for court if I didn’t agree to all of my ex’s demands to which she responded she was out of the office that day, Friday, then the weekend was up, and court was scheduled for Monday morning. There was no plan, just give up. I wasted so much money and was upset at the situation. I was convinced by someone to write Emily again, which I didn’t want to, I finally did since my ex was keeping my son from me. Unsurprisingly, my retainer had coincidently run out right before my question to Emily and she wanted more money. No thanks! I was seeing the proper way to fire her but she asked about being off the case and I agreed she should be. The bar was set pretty low but this somehow was worse than I thought. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! I don’t know if they delete negative reviews because I saw so many good reviews and felt hopeful, it only made things that much worse. I wish her last name was fightin because all she did was end up costin me a lot of money for nothing.

Melissa Doss and her staff were fantastic throughout my when divorce process. I always felt so welcome when I came into their office. They are all the sweetest ladies and very professional. We were able to get the process done quickly and I appreciate them for that! I would recommend them 1000%!

If I could give them 100 stars I would! Melissa and her team worked very quickly to take care of my legal matters. They were very communicative and answered all of my questions in my custody case. I will never use another family law attorney as long as they are around!
