I had the pleasure of having ShelbyAnn Johnson assigned to me after OPM denied my claim initially. ShelbyAnn explained what was needed of me, what to expect and where she felt my case stood. Once I obtained the documents , she did the rest. She is very knowledgeable in the whole legal process of dealing with OPM. My appeal was submitted and 25 days later I was approved. I have no doubt I would have gotten denied, or still attempting to get approved if I had not hired Harrris Law Firm.

I’m glad that I found Harris Federal! I was approved on my third chance and it was with the help of the appeals team! Ms. Leah and her team were phenomenal! My only gripes are the emailing back and forth, it would be great to have a drop box, online submission and messenger link. Kind of like how most doctor’s offices are set up. Sending documents with my PII data via an email, DID NOT make me feel extremely comfortable! If a link was set up that was secured, that would be outstanding! Also, a checklist or status link would be great too! We are in 2024 and sending documents through email is outdated and dangerous with the way personal info can be stolen! Brooklyn was my case manager and I didn’t have the best experience with her. I asked for my file and the documents were scanned through a printer and came to me crooked; not very professional! Other than that hiccup, I still got approved with the help of Harris Federal!

So far so good! Got my retirement application completed and submitted. Brooklyn was great to work with, very knowledgeable and help full. I am filling for disability and she was so helpful getting the correct doctor information and completing the forms. Just waiting for OPM to make a decision.
