Combs Law lists themselves as being open on Saturday. When my spouse and I showed up first thing in the morning to find them closed, we called. What sounded like a centralized office told us that the hours posted were incorrect and that they would be open in thirty minutes. When we came back in a half hour and found the doors were still locked, we called again. The centralized office didn't have an answer and said they would pass our message along. John called back quickly. We were seeking counsel regarding a consumer manner and John was fairly quick to advise the matter wasn't worth pursuing monetarily. While I would have much preferred the opportunity to go over this with him in person, as there were documents to reference, I did appreciate the candor and transparency. Nobody likes to have their time or money wasted, which John helped me avoid. With that being said, posting accurate hours is easy. We do not live in town and drove for an hour each way. It was very frustrating to find the doors locked and be misadvised by a secretary.

Hired in November of 2023, did not get back with me on my case unless I emailed him first and even then nothing moved forward until 6 months had passed and I wanted a refund. He then somehow had everything ready to send right then and there when he had all the same information in February. It took him as long as he could hold the money before he sent it out. Asked for the refund May 9th and he didn’t send it until June 28th.
