I have been friends with John for 30 years and have witnessed his growing reputation for being the best defense lawyer in town. Last year, a coworker of mine was arrested for DUI and would have lost his job if he could not drive. He is a young guy and his wife had just had a baby. He had been speaking to other lawyers who were painting a dim picture and we're going to charge him an excessive amount in fees. When he spoke to me I without hesitation told him I had the right lawyer for him. I called John, he answered immediately and within 5 minutes he was in touch with my friend. Referring someone to a lawyer when the consequences are high can't be taken lightly. It's not like you are telling them about a good restaurant, the guy that cuts your grass, etc. Of course, just like I promised my friend, John was confident, professional, explained the process, kept him informed and saved his driving privalidges. John also did this for half of what other lawyers were going to charge even though he got the results the other lawyers said were not possible.
