Charles is was very knowledgeable regarding Kentucky family law. He was knew exactly what strategy to take in order to win my case. He was very professional in court and concentrated very much on how the law applied to my situation.

I found Charles to be a kind patient lawyer. My divorce was a very difficult one. I feel that the advise that Charles gave was the right direction to go.

At possibly the worst time in my life Charles listened to my need for a divorce with kindness and patience. When my husband was incarcerated we had lost about a third of our income due to his Social Security being stopped. Charles made sure I got what I needed in the divorce to survive financially. For $1500 I could never have gotten the results I did anywhere else.

It took him over 6 months to have my now ex-husband served divorce papers in jail. First Charles told me that he was served, then a month went by and he told me that he had not been served. This happened 3 or 4 times where Charles told me my ex had been served but then a month would go by and he actually had not been served. I would send him e-mails and leave voicemails requesting an update on my case and he would never e-mail or call me back. I ended up calling the jail and the courthouse to find out information to see if my ex had been served. The jail told me my ex had not received anything and the courthouse told me nothing had been done on my case at all. After I told Charles the information I found out and told him if something didn't happen soon I would be retaining another lawyer and getting my money back from him, he made up a bunch of excuses. I paid him a total of $2150 which $1500 was a retainer fee. After my case was over, I never received a statement explaining where all my money went and I never received the remained of my retainer back. My divorce decree states that a quit claim deed was to be executed within 30 days and I never heard back from him on that either. I am tempted to turn him into the bar association. Very unprofessional and incompetent.
