October 16th 2019 that's when my career world ended. I hired Mr Jim Green in Madisonville Kentucky to represent me. This went on for a couple of years and said at first it would be no problem. But a couple of years later when it came down to the trial date, me being in Key West and needing to drive to Kentucky in the middle of the winter with nowhere to stay, Mr Green said he had a great plea bargain for me. I told him I was not guilty, yet and he still insisted on me taking this plea bargain. This plea bargain ruined my life for the next 3 years. When I pointed out the officers discrepancies in his report and being able to prove it with the officers pictures for evidence, that's when I realized that my attorney had not even looked deeply into my case whatsoever. I am greatly dissatisfied with Mr Jim Green

Mr Greene was my attorney in trigg county several years ago and he did his homework for me I am so great full to him and how he helped me.

Let me just start off by saying this is the 2nd review I have ever left but this lawyers misuse of our time, money, and lives warrants an honest review to hopefully spare another family from the stress, pain, and carelessness of this law office. We are a military family who used to reside in Madisonville and hired Mr. Greene because we needed a lawyer to do a stepparent adoption for our 2 oldest children. During the consult Mr. Greene informed us that this process would take about 4 months and he required a 1500 upfront fee to get the adoption started. We paid the fee he said the rest would be due in December. (Note that this is the least of his unprofessionalism.) He 2 weeks later had his secretary call to request the rest of the fee and said the entire process would be stopped util he got the money. Honestly I don't even think anything had been done with the initial 1500 but shortly after this we paid the rest thinking the process would be smooth. This was in October 2021. Every interaction with Mr. Greene which was maybe 2 between October and the court day in July of 2022 involved him bashing his secretary or I should say multiple secretaries. He never once returned any of our phone calls and when we spoke to his secretary she was never helpful. They would say ok once the guardian adelitem does their investigation we should be cleared for court but then we were hit with 2 or 3 more bills and more tasks that needed done last minute. Mr. Greene misspelled our sons name for the birth certificate which we still 7 months after the adoption have not received which was Mr. Greene's reasonability to obtain for our children. He refuses to ever call us back or update us. we recently found out by making calls to the courthouse and to the birth certificate place that the records are in a different location than we were told. So we are trying to obtain these on our own. Mr. Greene has been left messages and numerous phone calls but it seems once he gets his money, he quits doing his job! Being a military family we are due to PCS in 5 months to Italy and our family may be separated if birth certificates are not obtained very very soon due to the negligence and carelessness of this lawyer. Many documents had wrong addresses dates and names and that Mr. Greene did not proof read. The headache he has caused our family is not okay! I wish we could get a refund for the lies misinformation and negligence but people in power do what they want it seems with no consequences! Save your money and time! Go elsewhere! P.S. His secretary should leave he seriously talks horrible about you to his clients.
