In September of 2019 I contacted Jeff Alford about potentially/hopefully adopting my stepson. The biological father was not in the picture and we were hoping that it would be an easy open/shut case. That didn't turn out to be the case. Once the biological father knew of our intentions he all of a sudden wanted to be a part of his life. Jeff and his staff took the case and proved to the judge that it was in the best interest of my stepson to be adopted by me. He was very tenacious in court and did an awesome job.
