I was referred to this office by another attorney and would not recommend. I spoke with Donna, I believe she’s the receptionist, who was helpful. But I wasted almost a week trying to reach an attorney @ this office by the name of Robin. I emailed and called but never got assistance. I tried to call up and was told because I wasn’t in a retainer is the reason for this level of service. I would think intake is as important to get to the part of even discussing costs but I guess that’s not the case for this office. I was very surprised by the lack of service here and totally wasted my time.

I am still dealing with the mess Lisa Prater Bailey made of my divorce. I am not sure if she was uncomfortable dealing with me because of the venomous statements thrown at me by my ex husband, which she NEVER questioned the validity of. Or, if she was uncomfortable dealing with me because my ex is an attorney who also used a prestigious attorney to represent him. No matter the excuse, it was unacceptable and I should have fired her when I noticed she didn’t ask questions about the legitimacy of his claims, etc. Other concerning factors were inadequate discovery and investigation, and failure to fully inform me of all the options available to me (particularly in child custody). It is difficult to fire somebody you already retained and paid large sums of money to. All in all, if you have a complicated divorce, or if you’re a woman being attacked by the claims of a venomous ex-husband, this is not your attorney. There are attorneys much better suited for contemptuous divorces.

When you get to the point of beginning your search for a divorce attorney it is overwhelming. I met with several attorneys before making my decision to go with an attorney recommended by a friend, when the divorce process began the attorney I hired did not prepare me for how the process works and after the first court appearance I knew I made the wrong decision on the attorney I hired. I dug a little deeper and a mentor of mine recommended Lorraine. I contacted Lorraine and met with her, I learned more from the first meeting over all the research and the first attorney I hired. I hired her and she began working on my very complicated contentious divorce process. Immediately she calmed my anxiety with her superwoman confidence, Lorraine explained in great detail every step of the process and the strategy she proposed. I was able to finally sleep at night knowing my case was in good hands. I was able to show up to court with the knowledge of knowing how things were going to go and not have any surprises. Going through a divorce is one of the worst experiences anyone can go through and there are many choices for family law and it is hard to get a true referral based on the specific needs of your case. I highly recommend Lorraine and her team to handle all issues pertaining to family law. You get what you pay for and when your going through one of the hardest times of your life you cannot put a price on getting peace of mind knowing you have the absolute best legal team in your corner. She is worth every penny and will be the only attorney I ever recommend for family law. When we walked into the court building the respect she received from her piers as well as the judges was undeniable. Lorraine should be your first and only call.
