My husband had pending cases in both New Orleans and St Bernard Parish. He also has a pretty bad record. Mr Alfonse spent two years working in both courts. Before we hired him, our last attorney tried to tell him to take a ten year sentence. That’s when we hired Mr Alfonse. He convince the judges and DA’s that basis of all these charges were my husbands addictions problems. No only did he keep him out of jail, he helped him get into drug court and was even his sponsor for the last 4 years. He still helps my husband stay in recovery. I was in need of a criminal defense lawyer and someone referred me to Alfonse. I had got into some trouble and it wasn't my first time, unfortunately. Alfonse took the case and was contacting me atleast 1-2x a week while incarcerated. We went through about 2-3 court dates waiting for them to give me the shortest time possible. He wouldn't just settle for anything.He did his best to get me the shortest time. He worked well with me with payment arrangements on behalf of me being incarcerated and my mother being sick and passing away. He also made sure I was in good condition on behalf of my health, being that I'm a diabetic and have cancer. I got into some trouble back into 2015. Was pulled over by narcotics. They searched my car, didn't find anything, but claimed they smelled marijuana. They went off my insurance card address and went searched my moms house and found weed, paraphernalia, and a scale. I was put on diversion. I failed my drug test multiple times.
