When looking for a family law attorney, I consulted with several people I know in the court system including a couple of judges. Christine Remy's name kept being mentioned to me. It's unfortunate that I hadn't gotten those consultations earlier in my legal battles. I needed someone who would be aggressive with my ex-wife's jerk of an attorney. My two previous attorneys wanted to make friends with opposing counsel instead of fighting for MY rights. After meeting with Christine Remy for 5 minutes, I knew things would be different with her on my side. And they definitely were! It's not easy for a father to retain custody of his children, but with Christine's help, I did. She was aggressive in court when she needed to be and was my counsel/therapist when I need that. Her fees were more than reasonable. Her expertise and professionalism was superb. I definitely would (and have) recommend(ed) her to anyone seeking legal counsel.

The Remy law firm is an amazing family practice law firm to work with. They take the time to really understand your situation. Mrs. Remy is very fair and honest with her work. She is very organized and does all of her research. She believes in what she does and is very passionate about doing what is right. In my experience very few attorneys care as much as Mrs. Remy. You are not just a client to her! I recommend her law firm to anyone who needs an EXCELLENT attorney.

Remy Law Firm is amazing. Christine and her staff take the time to listen to your needs, thorough in explaining all the legal terms, and advising what is in your best interest. You are not treated as a client, but she advises you as if you are a family member. My family and I are grateful to have had such a professional, dedicated law firm working to get the matters resolved quickly and efficiently. Thank you!!

After my experience I felt taken advantage of. I spoke to Ms. Remy prior to filing for divorce and informed her that my wife was not going to be seeking any alimony or any of my assets. The very next thing she told me was that it would be in my best interest to go with a flat fee over a billable hour payment scheme. The flat fee was quite large but I was not really in a state of mind to question it. Everything went through fine without any need to go to court after our six month separation.
Many months later her office (quite accidentally) sent me an invoice for a little over $700. This covered a filing fee and 3.25 hours of work. When I sent her an angry email, she informed me that it was a mistake and to not worry about it. My biggest problem is that had I not agreed to the flat fee, which was supposedly in my best interest, the ~$700 was ALL that I would've had to pay. The flat fee was almost five times as much, or around $1,000 an hour. She may or may not be a fine lawyer, but keep your own counsel when it comes to your billing decisions.
