Betrayed & a victim of false allegations & wrongful actions. Adam Johnson seems to be the one everyone recommends and praises. So, I thought to give his brother Jonathan a try since all the good reviews. Upon calling this firm, I was told one lawyer, a woman, was full, and when I asked if any others could take my case, I was told everyone else was full as well. So we went to others until a family member reached out knowing this firm and got us a consult with Jonathan Johnson. 1st day, Jonathan completely misses our consult requiring me and others to take another day off of work. 2nd day, Johnathan is in leisure wear at 11 am. on a weekday. I was a tad late, but family arrived early and was able to fill the team in until I arrived. Jonathan seemed very distracted. We had met before, and he asked for a quick run down of anything new. Upon closing, which to me is an open and shut case and has been said by other attorneys of equal or greater prestige than the Johnson Firm, Jonathan informed me that he would not work well with me because he felt threatened with how our attorney client relationship would go. Literally, Jonathan told me I was too confident in winning my case, and that was the problem for why he wouldn't represent me. He made a character judgment all within me, talking for 2 and a half mins about updates to my case since I had met him on a consult 2 years prior. After pleading with him, he agreed to accept the case, took my money, and told me, "This is not a gustapo. You will be able to make decisions for yourself." Yet, the next week, they made me run in circles and then was told to come get my money again every step of the way. One of which I asked Latoya a specific question. She didn't know, and she said she would ask Jonathan. Calls me back the next day with another, "Come get your money call," saying she told him something about me refusing to work with them. I was like, you got to be kidding me, I asked you a question.. not all that you told him. Seems like poor communication all around with this team. Finally, I had enough of the games and did just that and went got the money. Look, these guys just got a nice new office. They haven't had to want for anything in years. Now it's time they just rested up and dealt with rich clients. These aren't the types for your everyday person who's fallen on hard times. People like Johnathan Johnson are a disgrace to the legal representation and what it upholds. By the way, I'm a single father whose wife and child's mother just died. I went to this firm on recommendation from family that these are good people. We come from Creole Louisiana, where money isn't everything, but character sure is. Can't find in my good heart any reason to recommend Jonathan Johnson. Adam, his brother, seems to be the reason the office is doing so well. Edit: (Looking at the reviews. It's funny the number of accounts with only one review. Like it isn't hard to make gmails and propt up your reviews with all 5 stars..) (Most people find me very humble and laid back. Obviously, I am passionate about my daughter, especially with her mother just passing. I'm not sure else why he would be threatened by me. It seemed like every step of the way I was hit with some kind of resistance from this team, like they have more clients and money than they know what to do with.)
