Cons
1
Occasionally, attorneys may not take on certain cases or may not fight as hard as the client expects
“She gathered my records and everything seemed fine though I only really saw her once but when I had my hearing she refused to go to it because the judge didn't like giving disability to younger adults.”
2
High legal fees for disability cases can be a concern for some clients
“I don't think it's fair for leavitt &meunier law firm should be taking a full $6000 out of my $2,4000 ssi back pay be cuz when they got my case it was sent back from the appeal council because the first judge was sapose to aprove me and mr. Adam law firm was calling me every day asking me to do their job and get records that was already in file from first time I whent to court I don't think they deserve $6000 when they didn't do anything but write a brief not fair it's sad how lawyer takes advantage of ppl with disabilities when we are desperate to be approved they only worked on my case for a few months they did not do $6000 worth of work.”
