Wish I could give MORE than 5 stars! Excellent service and great communication

Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. The “lawyer” missed 1of 3 court dates entirely , even after I was told someone would be there the day of. I am not a person who had ever been in trouble with the law before this. I sent a message the day of my first court date asking if someone would be there. I was told yes. No one showed up!! When I followed up with the office later I was told he would just be there later… that did nothing for my confidence. The second court date someone showed up. The 3rd and final one the lawyer was more than a half an hour late!! We were sent out of the courtroom to “find our lawyer” not a good look!! Especially for what they charge. Also I am wondering how I (who never laid a hand on anyone and was having the shit literally kicked out of me by 3!!!! people)gets community service. Also my daughter that jumped in to save my life ended up with the same community service!!! They are not worth the money you pay them…. Even if they were free they would not be worth the $! Editing to respond to your response. You were not hired to defend us from a fight. I was take down from behind, I was brutally beaten by 3 people! That is not a fight is was a straight up unwarranted assault.. I was a straight up victim! My daughter never should have had charges brought on her as she was defending someone whose life was in imminent danger! As far as when I hired you, yes it was short notice, when I reached out the morning of the first trial date I was told my lawyer would be there for the arraignment. Not that he would be making contact with the state later…had I been told the TRUTH about him being to court on time it wouldn’t be an issue, but I was lied to and told he would be there at the time set by the court. Later, after I called to find out why he wasn’t there I was given the answer he had to be in Bossier at the same time. That would make the answer to my question will he be there no. Ooohhhh… I do see the point the 4 assailants were given $400 fine and community service. You are right… I was able to get away without that fine.. and surly I saved $ in the long run paying you $12,900…. Oh wait I paid out the nose , and get the same amount of community service as the CRIMINALS THAT ASSAULTED ME AT MY PLACE OF WORK. Sounds like a win to me… in the way that you classify community service a win for a victim.

Mr. Whiddon and his team dont play around, i could tell by the way he came stepping into the court room he meant business. Let's just say...their performance hasn't inspired a lot of confidence. Going through this office for a couple of expungements. I let them know that a conviction from 2017 was my main focus. After receiving my rap sheet, they tried to start expungement on a non-convicted 2014 charge instead. I had to remind them of the case that I wanted expunged, and tell them to look at Parish records to find it. When it came time to pay, they told me to pay $1k over what was quoted (3k instead of 2k). I pushed back and they more or less told me I was lying. It wasn't until I sent them the written quote that they said "Oops, that's our mistake". The tipping point was when they sent me an entirely different person's documents... How secure are your files going to be, if they sent me someone else's? Now, one of my two expungements is complete. They called me to me know that they will email me the documents. A week later....no documents, but they did email me a "Welcome Pack" for criminal proceedings. I'm not on trial, I'm getting an expungement. I emailed the office asking why I received it. In that email, I also asked about the completion docs. They acknowledged the welcome pack - "New hires might be using your account for training." But they completely ignored the part where I requested my expungement docs ... 2 weeks later, still no documents. Finally got the documents, the SSN was wrong on them. I asked why - Jamie in the office says it's something they do for every expungement (to make sure the parish is doing its job??? Whatever that means), but Whiddon says it was a case of incorrectly inputting the information. Hmm... The second expungement (and in fact the one I made clear was the priority) is still in limbo with no resolution, a month after the first one cleared. But they were filed at the same time...? Strange. I reached out to Keith. He told me that we're just waiting on a hearing date, and maybe the paperwork is floating around the courthouse. Well guess what! As it turns out, they DIDNT EVEN FILE THE PAPERWORK until a couple of weeks AFTER that conversation. The case that I was clear was the priority - it sat on their desk for 5 months before even reaching the courthouse - and when I asked about it, was given a dishonest answer. Do you think they even called to let me know when it EVENTUALLY was filed, maybe a "hey our fault, we forgot to file"? Of course not. It wasn't until I got the receipts from the clerk of court and called them out that they even communicated their mistake, and while he admitted to the mistake, still wanted to argue about my "timelines and characterization of it", like everything isn't documented lmao, real piece of trash. Dude would argue that the sky is red if it made him look better. If you want someone to be truthful with you, stay FAR AWAY from this guy. I'd recommend going with someone more organized. The level of incompetence that this office has displayed has been nothing short of profound. Legal issues affect your life, go with higher quality representation. Unfortunately, I can't switch because I already paid, but you can learn from my mistake. You don't want to feel like an afterthought, you want to take precedence over their TikTok video recording schedule. Here's a fun fact for you. Whiddon got his degree from Mississippi College, which Wall Street Journal ranked 600/600 on their list of colleges for 2024
