Nice people help me very well

I was a client of Morris Bart from April 2017 to August 2020. I was involved in a car accident with a drunk driver. I was not at fault and the driver admitted to causing the accident. I first was introduced to one lawyer, and after about six months, then suddenly another lawyer called me with an attitude of disgust and bitterness. She informed me that my previous lawyer quit the firm, and she was forced to take this case. She told me she would look at the file from her ex-colleague. She never once asked me any questions about prior cases. As time went on, I had to constantly call and get updates on my case. We have had several heated arguments about my case and her unprofessional opinion towards it. I have asked several times to speak to Morris Bart about her unscrupulous and improper behavior. To no avail she and her direct manager both gave me numerous excuses about his schedule, and him not being available to speak with me about their misleading effort. I called the office trying to speak with his secretary, and again the effort was intercepted by his staff. I ended up not asking to speak to Morris Bart anymore because it became apparent that his employees are trained to keep their misconduct at bay. I received a call from my lawyer saying the opposing counsel wanted to depose me. I agreed and during the deposition I was asked several questions about my prior cases. I explained them, and then I was asked why it was not in the packet my lawyer sent to them. My lawyer asked for a recess and told me she did not know about my prior cases. I said you never asked, and I told the first lawyer who I was assigned everything. I told her you never asked me anything about my other cases; you did not even guide me with filling out the paperwork I had to send to the opposing counsel. She then just said when you go back in, I will tell them I have to amend your packet. After the meeting was over, I was notified by my lawyer that she wanted to drop the case because she said she could not win it. I later received another call from her saying the opposing counsel was suing me for the cost of the deposition which was $11,000. She laughed and said I do not think the Judge in Jefferson Parish will allow it, but it is JP and she laughed again. She told me she would file some paperwork that would justify why Morris Bart and I should not have to pay that cost. I received a court date and the judge awarded the opposing counsel the $11,000. I asked her what was next she said well you must pay that amount. I said is not that what Morris Bart supposed to pay because I was represented by his law firm? She said no we are going to write off your medical bills and that obligation is on you. I said just like Morris Bart will be writing off my medical bills, he can write this off too. She said no he will not, and I once again asked to speak to Morris Bart about this outrageous amount. I still to this day have not been able to rectify this situation. I hope this keeps other people from falling prey to a lying, deceitful, unprofessional organization with a leader that is only visible when a television commercial is on and a billboard is erected. I will never hire nor recommend Morris Bart's Law firm to anyone again, but I will inform people of his poorly ran and misleading operations. Yes, I would like to further discuss this matter. Everyone I dealt with in my case was very professional and courteous. It made the process less painful and a more pleasant experience. Legal battles always require patience, but my attorneys handled everything well and always kept me informed and updated.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. I liked my attorney, he was always answering my questions and concerns. They made sure I was recovering well. I would recommend Morris Bart to anyone.
