I am so grateful to Atty Seth Smiley law firm, associates and staff. They were indeed a big help in my most difficult time after a car wrecked, I was physically and mentally distress but they help me all throughout. They were so accommodating, responsive to all my queries and they gave me always sound advice. I experienced their high concern to their clients, as if they are counseling their own relatives. I recently looked at my receipt. I tried them awhile back they are very high I didn’t get at least half of what my settlement was . My settlement was 4800 and I only received 1200 !!

I couldn't recommend a better lawyer than Mrs. (Elizabeth) Carpenter. PERIOD. Seriously, to anyone reading these reviews, she is Knowledgeable and kind. Yes I said KIND. She will listen to you and REPRESENT you authentically. She has been so understanding with allowing me to pay her at a comfortable pace, which is a godsend. She has great communication, and she really, REALLY saved me out of what seemed a insurmountable legal situation. She represented me in a legal situation revolving around an illegal search and siezure by Jefferson Parish Police; who, after breaking many laws and my personal, civil liberties used fear and intimidation tactics, to the point of straight up lying and covering up evidence. I was devistated but Elizabeth believed in me and continued to fight for my rights. In my experience with past lawyers, I found they can become jaded overtime. Due to the stressful and overwhelming nature of there work, a lot of lawyers can be rude and/or condescending, in both attitude and demeanor; however, working with Elizabeth this was farthest from the case. Her caring and attentive attitude towards my case eased a serious amount of my worries/anxiety during the proceedings, and restored my faith in lawyers overall. At the end my case was reduced to simple fees. I don't know how I could have gotten through this without her representation. Do yourself a favor and give her a call!
