8 years ago I was injured at my place of employment. I was scared as heck as to what to do next. A friend of mine referred me to Nathan Jury. The first time I met him I was quite intimidated. He was very professional and to the point, as any good attorney should be. As time passed by, I came to realize that Nathan was just a normal hard working guy, that just wanted to help people in their time of need.The first time we went to court, I was a nervous wreck. I first met Nathan in October 2011 when I hired him to be my Workers Comp Lawyer. Five days after I had my back fused in June 2011 the Workers Comp Insurance Co. cut off my paycheck and benefits. Their reasoning was that carrying 200 pound glass didn’t do my back in, it was my age and my weight! After three months, and well after my money ran out, the state appointed Lawyer hadn’t even filed my appeal. Nathan filed my appeal and had my paycheck back in less than two weeks. For the next 15 months he worked tirelessly building my case and fighting off the Insurance Lawyers who were trying to railroad me. Finally we went to court and because of Nathan’s diligence, we won the case. But then it took another 10 years, and many trips to the Insurance Company Doctors to try and prove I was completely healed, not to mention the three times they tried to take me back to court to reduce my benefits, the Insurance Company settled with us. I’ve heard many horror stories from other people who had Workers Comp Lawyers that didn’t get them justice, but thank God Nathan wasn’t one of them. Thanks to him I’m not out on the street, just another statistic of the Insurance Company injustice.

Nathan Jury is the definition of a professional. He has a way about him that demands respect. His attention to detail is unmatched in my opinion. I can say that because I changed lawyer's 3 time's. I was very impressed with his knowledge of my case and I was also thankful how honest he was with me. He never let me get to emotional but at the same time made it very clear that he had my back no matter what. I was followed by a special investigation crew for a little less than two weeks. Nothing I did was outside of my work restrictions but the opposing side felt differently. I swear to anyone reading this that he not only got my benefits back and won the hearing. he practically made the opposing lawyer cry from frustration and absolutely owned the two men that took surveillance. I knew I had made the right decision before but watching him in action was a thing of beauty. My situation was full of pain, heartache and my character being called into question. Might sound weird but it was like having a father or big brother protecting me. 12 years, 5 back surgeries, a medical file that took a dolly to carry and he was there through it all. I don't want to scare anyone with the time frame of my settlement because the nature of the company in my opinion was to make people suffer long enough and struggle financially enough to break a person down to either doing something I wasn't supposed to or ending my own life which I strongly considerd. I couldn't effing do anything out of my restrictions if I wanted to and Nathan knew that. Dr after Dr, evaluation after evaluation he beat them all because he understands the truth and what's real. What was most important to me was to be able to buy a house outright with no mortgage in case I couldn't do anything for myself AGAIN! He made that happen!
