Maria is in a class by herself as far as we are concerned! We contacted close to twenty lawyers who were listed or recommended to us for help in an Education law issue for my child, and Maria by far was the best. She responded to our initial request for help on the same day I sent out requests, and was willing to speak on the phone first about our situation to tell us if we had a case. Our situation involved a homeschooling issue and the local Board of Education, and Maria was one of less than 5 attorneys who would even speak to us about our case. She responded usually within hours, and always within a day, to any communication we sent to her, and was happy to accept the research we had already done into the case in order to lower our legal costs. She worked on our time-sensitive case with as much speed as possible to reach a resolution, and was very kind and sensitive to my daughter as well. We are very pleased with the timeliness and outcome of our case, thanks to Maria. I would recommend her to anyone with an Education law issue, and I am sure she is equally skilled in the other areas of law in which she practices. An absolute A+ for Maria in our book!

We were in need of an attorney to prepare our wills, power of attorney (medical and financial) and health care advance directives. I expected it to be a difficult discussion as my spouse and I are not always on the same page on certain topics but Maria made it easy. There were some tears, some laughter, but she made it happen. She explained things in layman's terms so that everything was understandable, instructed us in what would be subject to probate and how to do things properly in order to have the least amount subject to probate. She guided and counseled us in a gentle but professional way. This experience ended up being pleasant, easy and much less expensive than i had anticipated. I would highly recommend Maria as an attorney - highly competent and very personable. She gets an "A" from us!

Maria was so patient with me and my husband. She was able to easily answer all of our questions and explain the estate planning process. I was very slow in wrapping everything up but Maria and her staff stayed on top of the process and happily I feel confident that our estate will settle the way we intend.
