I will gladly share my experience here, as it changed my life. Without going into dramatic details I am a father who cares very much about my son. Helping him develop into a responsible adult is the most important part of my life. Prior to coming to A Team family law that was going to be a impossible task. The facts are that hiring a lawyer is a expensive adventure regardless of the circumstances but Valerie was more than fair with me when it came to charging me for her time. Hopefully I will never need these types of services again but if I do I couldn't imagine hiring anyone but Valerie. I will never be able to truly express my gratitude but just know that it was a life changing experience for me and I got everything that I wanted and everything I deserved.

Ms. Burrows has a temper and while charming at times is frequently unable to control irritable outbursts and personal biases that can have serious consequences on your case in a collaborative or court-based environment. She is not thorough or careful in speech or conduct, and has mad ad hominem attacks on professional settings and in out of court negotiations. This behavior would be sanctioned if the same conduct appeared before a judge. Her conduct breaks court rules, she encouraged parties to file in court, w/ haste and flippantly, rather than focusing on ensuring costs were minimized for the needs of children. She regularly asserted incorrect statements of basic family law, regarding rules of admissible evidence under specific statutes. She has strayed far from several ethical requirements required of attorneys, including acting within the best interest of the children. This is especially dangerous for families of limited means with minor children.
