Silverman Thompson in Baltimore is THE top firm for family law. I worked with Joseph Stephan for my divorce and was absolutely impressed with how good he and his team were. As with many divorces, it was a fairly drawn out process but, even before signing the retainer, Joe spent a long time on the phone with me discussing options and strategies. He told me that they were more interested in ensuring they were able to meet my needs than just gaining another client. Once we determined that I wanted to move forward, Joe efficiently set everything up. Every message or phone call was returned right away. It seemed that everything he did was as if he was doing it for a family friend. I really felt represented and supported. I really came to understand the value of good representation. Patrick Seidel and the team at Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin & White went above and beyond to help me with my criminal case. It is without a doubt the best money I've ever spent. I was arrested while travelling through Maryland and faced a 5 year minimum year sentence if convicted. My lawyer was able to secure a favorable bail ruling after filing habeas corpus and I was out after a few days (unheard of in Harford County). After a year passed we found ourselves at a suppression hearing. It was incredibly impressive to see the lawyers do their job. They had information that went beyond the subpoena and were able to dismantle the illegal stop and search. The information they dug up on the officers arrest history and assigned unit was really amazing. I was extremely impressed with Patrick's cross examination. His assessment of the video was surgical. I couldn't recommend him more. Bonus, he's a really good guy who gives a %#/$!
