I recently was involved in a dispute with a company that had caused damage to my home while conducting asbestos abatement. The company would not reimburse me for the damage. I contacted SBWD Law firm and spoke with Jacob Finkelstein. He was fantastic. He advised me on what steps to take with the company. When the company still didn't respond he drafted a demand letter sent it to the company. The dispute was resolved within 4 days. I couldn't be happier with the service Mr. Finkelstein provided. He went above and beyond assisting me. I highly recommend this law firm.

Jacob did an excellent job handling our landlord tenant dispute. He kept in constant contact and gave us sound advice. He worked very hard to get us the best possible outcome I would highly recommend him.

Had to change my review. As stated before Mr Owens was great. But my second experience was disappointing with a different attorney. After winning my case and found not guilty and the COSA declaring my employers actions as “Legally Erroneous”, I was still forced out of my job. Another law firm said SBW Law should have fought for me in regards to “due process“ violations and “constructive discharged” violations. This law firm gave up on me and did not fight with the fire and tenacity that Mr Owens did. And in fact my employer was threatening termination if I did not drop an appeal I had filed in Circuit Court. The slanderous and libel statements made about me by my employer were wrong, illegal, and defamatory. SBW law dropped the ball and cause me to loose a rewarding career early. Forcing me to retire early loosing over 1 million dollars in future retirement benefits. Not to mention no recognition of my retirement from my employer and the loss of my retirement credentials. If you use this firm, which I don’t think I will in the future. Insist on Mr Owens as your attorney, he at least fights for his clients and doesn’t cave to pressures of employers.

Jacob was awesome. He was very diligent and worked hard to resolve our issue with Honda with reference to a lemon buyback. He was always quick to return our calls, he listened to our concerns, and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jacob and his firm.
