I was referred to Ms. Hyland to assist with two private student loan lawsuits. I was comfortable with Ms. Hyland immediately and retained her services after our initial conversation. I had already agreed to payment agreements on three other loans being held by the same trust, and after some negotiations between Ms. Hyland and the trust's own legal counsel, the trust agreed to a global settlement on all five loans. The global settlement amount was for the same amount I was already obligated to pay the trust, adding nothing to my balance and effectively settling the additional two loans lawsuits for a zero balance. Ms. Hyland was thorough, knowledgeable, and responsive to all inquiries. She was able to set clear expectations through each phase of the process and followed through on her part of the process in a very timely manner.
