I was dealing with a license flag as well as hold on tags. This firm handled both in a timely matter as well as setting up an agreement with the State. I would recommend the Block firm to anyone dealing with tax issues.

This company has the best tax attorneys in Maryland. They actually listen to you first to find out what your needs are. Then they work with you to get the job done in a timely matter. They have helped us to get our taxes in order and arrange an installment agreement with IRS that fits our budget. I I cannot say enough good things about this company. If you are having problems with the IRS this is the company to use.

Best experience ever. I originally hired a different tax firm that did nothing for me in the three months that I was signed up with them. I then found Stanley Block and they handled my situation in three days!! When I tell you this firm is very professional, great communication and ready to go to bat for you, I’m not lying. Try not to get into any tax troubles but this firm I highly recommend.

I had the opportunity to work with SH Block Tax to settle an IRS tax audit. The team is amazing! They communicated with me every step of the way and ultimately helped me win my case! Initially the IRS said I owed $10k. With the help of Eric and his team, the IRS closed my case and made no changes to my 2016 taxes. I didn’t have to pay the IRS anything! Personally, this was a delightful person whose family works alongside him at this firm. I needed help filing seven year old state taxes that had fallen through the cracks. He wanted $1,000 upfront, and then another $500 for his tax prep person to file my taxes - although he agreed to $350. What did I get in return? I had to print out the two pages of taxes, and pay $555 in taxes owed to clear a $16,000 judgement in a Maryland county court (I've lived in Florida for six years). The judgement was automatically lifted, but will remain on my credit bureaus. Also, Maryland wants another $3,200 to settle the penalties. I called for help, and he told me just to pay it. That's it. No calling the Comptroller on my behalf, or any offer to help other than to pay them - and then try to challenge them. In all, save your money or go to someone who will provide value for your hard earned dollars. $1,350 paid is on my and was my mistake for something so simple - but I hoped and he led me to believe that he would help me clear all of this up after I paid the tax due, followed by 13% per year (which amounts to $500 and change). I am very disappointed with practice.
