Sometimes you're lucky. When New York State extended the Statutte of Limitations for child sexual abuse, I had no idea how to choose a law firm for representation. I had been sexually abused from the age of 10 to the age of 15 and never thought the day would come when there would be an opportunity for legal proceedings against the responsible establishment. I launched an Internet search and was immediately introduced to Janet, Janet & Suggs. At first that didn't seem like a good choice as the abuse took place in Western New York, I live in Portland, Maine and the law firm is in Baltimore, Maryland. "Worry not," I soon discovered. The courts are not known to be expeditious and the entire ordeal took a long time. So it was a welcome quality that the legal team at JJ&S kept me abreast of various levels of progress. I am beholden to Andrew Janet and could not have chosen a better lawyer to oversee and conduct the litigation that led to our victory. It cannot go without mention that Andrew has a legal assistant, Ross Campbell, who is knowledgeable, quick, assuring, thorough, and great to talk to on the phone. Yes we did! We won!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! its been a year an half then they say there is no answer..... DR>AKODA CASE!!!!!!!!!! yep, another guy gets away with malpractice... since i dont have any explanation, its worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! isnt it worse we are emotionally damaged and if you guys didnt pass the docket its understandable. BUT ATLEASE SEND A LETTER OR SOMETHING OUT.

I called the firm to determine if my case was suited for their areas of expertise. Although it was not, I found my initial contact with the secretary, Sandra to be delightful. The young lady was most polite, knowledgeable, and professional as she prepared my information for the intake staff. My day was made better by her kindness during this difficult time. Thanks Sandra

If you’re reading this you’re already lucky because you might have these folks represent you. If your case is winnable they will win your case. They will do so because they are smarter and work harder than the opposition. It’s really that simple. In addition, their bedside manner is impeccable, communication is prompt and generous, they are not sleazy or rude. These are ingenious warm hearted people who are extremely good at their job and they have my eternal gratitude. I wish I could say more because I could continue thanking and complementing them all day and that would suit me just fine, but you get the idea. Special thanks to Andrew, Rita and Ross. Three aces. And if you can add a pair to that, a legitimate case and being a good client, you will have an ace high full house. That’s a hand you’re going to want to bet on.

Disappointing service: they advertise free consultation, and instead what I got was only one assessment phone call during which I was not allowed to ask questions. They said they were going to get back to me via email and they did not. Not until I called them a week later, and soon after that I received a general email stating they were not going to assist me, with no explanation at all. Talking about traumatic experiences to a complete a stranger is not easy, I deserved at a least a brief explanation. I found this very unprofessional.
